17 Mrz +++ How to initiate cultural transformation +++
Today we take a little trip on the topic of change management, outlining briefly how to make a cultural transformation according to Simon Sinek.
Following his logic, first you have to be aware of the “law of diffusion” with the groups of innovators, early adopters, early and late majority and laggards. So, if you trigger a change initiative, the focus should lie upon the early adopters instead of the simple majority. You should try to achieve the most influencing people of an organization which does not mean necessarily the organizational power of a person but instead the trendsetter or powerful influence within any organization. In relation to this, try to create a need for the “new”, so everyone wants to have or do it. Furthermore, emphasize the change as something voluntary and as not too easy to achieve so you will have a small but strongly supporting community for the change.
