Even a good cybersecurity software solution 🔐 does not protect 100% from attacks. A recent example is the intrusion of the ransomware group Lapsus$ at Microsoft last month. Often passwords are stolen, access data is bought from the darknet, employees are bribed or public repositories are searched.

In order to prevent such attacks, the German Federal Office for Information Security recently published a catalog of measures 📒 presenting possible protective measures against extortion Trojans (so-called ransomware) for companies and public authorities.
