27 Mai Transformation and connectivity
Our last Transformation Talk dealt with the multidisciplinary topic of connectivity. One example given by our guest Dirk Brockmann, who is an expert in connectivity research, was social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or even LinkedIn.
Without a doubt, social media offers many advantages. From a business perspective, it has probably never been easier to communicate effectively about products or services with the target audience. 💬
But there are also negative aspects of social media, e.g. the rapid spread of fake news. Statistics show that the credibility towards mass media and the content shared decreases significantly. Advertisers are therefore increasingly using influencers to spread their messages. The total volume for influencer marketing was just under € 1 billion in the D-A-CH region in 2020.
