19 Aug We celebrate World Photography Day
Every year on August 19th, the International “Day of Photography” is celebrated đ. Why? On this day in 1837, the so-called daguerreotype (one of the oldest and most groundbreaking photography processes) was made available to the general public.
When we take photos, we connect the technology inside the camera with the people (or any other subject) in front of the camera lens. It’s a connection between technology and people – actually like in Da Vinci’s “Vitruvian Man”. Our Head of IT and Media Management, Mathias, recreated the famous drawing in this picture. Looks almost like the original, don’t you think đ?
By the way: Understanding people, technology and organization as an overall system is one important part of our work. Transformation only succeeds when all elements in complex systems are coordinated.
With this in mind: Happy World Photography Day đ!
