The outdated WLAN system at a hotel, which is rented through a third-party provider, is to be replaced by a modern purchase solution. The change should mean as little downtime as possible for the customer and there should no longer be any ongoing, fixed costs.
An optimal offer was negotiated with the previous provider for the provision of passive infrastructure such as cabling and cabinets. On this basis, the acquisition and installation of new hardware was planned. An appointment was made with the previous provider for the dismantling of the hardware. The new system was already pre-configured and tested in our service workshop. On the day of dismantling, a flying changeover could take place and the new hardware was already installed during the dismantling. The new WLAN system could be put into operation immediately after the dismantling was completed.
Through our purchase system, the customer no longer has fixed monthly costs and has the latest WLAN technology with the highest capacity. Since the system is now the property of the hotel, they can also monitor the system themselves, in addition to our remote maintenance. Through an additional, internal network via the same hardware, sensitive applications such as EC-cash transactions can now also be carried out with the corresponding devices.
